Now you are officially "Numero Uno"! A whole new class of Safari greats. I think you have started something here Bob and it will probably build out of control. Like the big 5 of dangerous varmints, 5 most hated of lizards and snakes, and the 5 most evil varmints. Air Gun Depot will start paying you to do the 5 Most XXX Varmint video Series. You'er already a star but now you enter the big time.

I hate starlings and cowbirds... Way to go bob o. I got 14 cowbirds in one day couple weeks ago , I always go for the females if possible but won't pass on a male , just the fact they lay their eggs in the nest of other birds like a lowlife and let them raise their babies drives me crazy...just like some humans LOL.

I heard of a guy who shot 39 cowbirds this year but that's not legal here. You go Bob. Btw he got 100 last year. Your welcome kirtland warbler

I've already set my own record with grackles this spring. And there seem to be plenty more for the weeks to come.

My guess same here in Colorado. Ive never thought of them as pests but seems they are in some environments.

Definition of a weed is a plant you don't want growing in that location. Definition of a pest is an animal that is damaging whatever is being done in a location. That's quite a spread! Not too many birds that are real welcome at the dairy farm I imagine, so it's open season and full power ahead!

Leon, in nys you may shoot them if they are doing crop damage june-october. All year for other damage in accordance with federal law as long as non lethal is tried first each calendar year . No permit required. See note four on the dec website on taking nuisance wildlife (sorry to hijack Bob, just want airgunners to be able to engage before they get to my farm lol)

I'd say that about 6 of the birds are totally wrecked

Yep, a ground squirrel. And there are more where that one came from........just need a couple more weeks and things to dry out and warm up and they will come out of their holes a lot more.
