Yes.
After watching "Ratting" videos, I looked online to see if there were any dairies around....only 2 were listed, one had closed, the other still in operation.
So, off I went.
I asked one of the hands about shooting the farm, he thought that it would be okay.
Took an air rifle there when asking to show and tell about the quietness and accuracy.
Explained that there were 3 'older', well experienced in shooting, adults. Looking to shoot rats at night (didn't pan out due to Kommiefornia banning night vision products, period!). So, we switched to ground squirrels, which was fine by the owner/s. We are VERY cautious about where we aim and what is behind the target, even a long distance away, can never be too careful.
Let them know that you do NOTHING illegal and are very aware of where pellets might go after a shot. We have damaged nothing in 15 years there. A very enjoyable endeavor!
It has been a very mutual experience as one of the owners has us over to his residence to take care of vermin there as well (about 2.5-3-acre parcel).
