I use this long 4mm carbon fiber rod to do a few things.... mostly i like to check pellet skirts for damage after feed but before firing to see how the pellet prbe and magazine are lining up. push in muzzle first and gentle pressure and out she comes.

After consulting with bdzjlz about a hunting faux pas, I took his advice and bought two dowel rods, 1/8” and 3/16”. Both were 4 feet long and cost me a whopping $2.38 with tax for the pair. I used the 3/16” to put my breech seal o ring in my 22. I eventually got it back in after 3 or so attempts. Will use the 1/8” for the 177. Thanks again Dan

To really make the dowel rod rock hard treat about 1" with kravy glue. Will turn wood into a nail.

I use my carbon fiber cleaning rod. Since I've switched to Hubens I haven't had that problem.

Great thread for a fellow whom doubled fed and fired a few times trying to clear. Easier to clear out than anticipated. I'm having a hard time with the RTI PII and not fully moving the cocking lever all the way forward. Not sure why its made to still shoot when not locked forward. Thanks for the thread postings!
