Got this from a friend. I’ve always used Kano Kroil with excellent results. The Alphabet org/Acetone stat is pretty impressive.

Yep. British car guys used this for years. Best to mix small amounts and or store in sealed glass jar.
I think the idea is the acetone things the oil and gets penetration then evaporates leaving oil where it's needed.

Wonder why they did not mix next best (kroil) with acetone to get better results then mixing it with the "3 letter government agency" fluid? ..lol.

I have also heard from a couple of friends that transmission fluid and acetone 50/50 mix works great

Kroil does come in a spray can which is awfully handy at times. Not airgun stuff but working on machinery.
