I would like to know if the FX 18.1 pellets are the same as the JSB 18.13 pellets.
Thanks and God Bless

They’re the same like two 150 pound men are the same; as in they are very similar but there are differences.
I recently bought two tins of the FX 18.1 pellets to compare against the JSBs and It was my experience that with my rifles they did not perform nearly as well. Notably so. But I wouldn’t say that they were bad, they just didn’t work for me.
And honestly, if I were shooting offhand instead of off a rest, I’d probably never notice the difference.
Try some, they might work brilliantly for you.

More than they're the same like two 150 pound men are the same, these JSB made rebranded pellets are more like identical twins. They are very much a like but with subtle differences. Made at the same factory even. With that said. I can buy 2 tins of JSB pellets that are labeled JSB (should be exactly the same) but I have found differences. Each lot could have slight differences.
What I'd like to know; are .25 - 33.95gr pellets labeled EDgun or FX, original King Heavies or MK2?![]()

I've tried to the best of my ability with magnifying glass and dial drive micrometer, and although LOGIC would tell you that FX .25 Heavy are Mk2, since FX designed their .25 HP guns around that pellet, I think the FX .25 Heavy are King Heavy (Mk1). I have the JSB Mk1 and Mk2, and the FX Heavy, and the Mk1 JSB and FX Heavy are IDENTICAL in all respects. Head size, shape, skirt thickness, cavity depth, all identical. The Mk2 have a slightly shallower cavity and thicker skirt. My Delta Wolf likes the Mk1 better than the Mk2 and shoots the FX Heavy exactly the same as the Mk1.
To note, the FX brand pellets seems to come in better condition than the JSB branded ones, less head dings, less bent skirts, and overall shinier and appear to be lightly lubed. The .22 RD Monster FX brand shoots better in my Red Wolf HP (Bleu) than any other pellet...
PS., who the hell weighs only 150 pounds???![]()
@Jayson, opinions asked, opinions given. Don't think anyone here claims to be the ultimate authority. That being said, based upon my experience & measurements the .30, 44.75gr. JSB, FX & Hatsan Vortex pellets are exactly the same. Took an educated guess that the 18.1's might be the same also.

Actually the OP wasn't asking for an "opinion", he was asking for an answer to his question. And pretty sure Jayson was referencing this.......
