Thank you for your replies. Not trolling but I guess I expected better from higher end pellets. I have replacements coming and we’ll see what they send. These are what I’ve tried thus far and the H and are spot on in weight and quality

My first batch of JSB pellets were junk also But it has been many years ago. So I tried H&N And they work good in some of my guns. Eventually I went back to JSB and haven’t had any problems. The ones I got didn’t actually look that bad but just shot horribly in everything.And in 22 caliber, I would stick with pellets in the 14 to 18 grn range.But it all depends on the velocity of Your gun.And just use plain domed pellets.RWS pellets shoot pretty good in some guns also.

those jsb monsters have been redesigned, so perhaps this is why?

since i have started shooting, the 18gr jumbo diabolos have been the most popular and generally accurate pellets.

if you want to go heavier, you might try the redesigned monsters.

For what it’s worth, I’ve have zero luck with MRD’s in a barrel supposedly designed with them in mind (Prophet). I’m gonna try the FX variant as I have a few tins of those. The 18’s do very well, and the NSA slugs show promise as do the H&N barracuda 21’s. If I may ask, where did the JSB’s come from?

I just got a tin of H&N 22 cal 25 gr slugs. Where have these been all my air gun life? The first air gun “pellets” I’ve ever seen that appear to be ballistically correct. They shoot and my gun loves them. Far as I’m concerned the rest are made for targets and cans. They hit like hammers
