Pellets vs Slugs, pros/cons?

Anyone have comments on pellets vs slugs for a springer in .22 caliber? Thanks & waiting on AoA for my HW95L!

Springers don't usually shoot slugs all that well.

Stick to pellets for that gun. Lighter pellets, even

Like Jim said springers usually don’t have the power to shot slugs well. Slugs like to be shot just as fast if not faster than pellets. You might have some luck with super light slugs but in general slugs are for high powered pcps.

My opinion is slugs to some degree defeat the advantage of pellet guns over firearms.

...I agree...the increase in ballistic potential increases the hazards involved as well...
