Pellets resizing.....worhtwhile?

Did you find some accuracy improvement when resizing your pellets through a die ? last weeks I shot a Kalibrgun Tactical 60 in .22cal , and had some issues with accuracy and consistency , but now these problems seem to be fixed. However resizing the JSB 18gr seems to greatly improve accuracy , as you can see in the pic below . I didn't notice this with my others guns , and I think it's maybe due to the non-choked barrel of the Tactical which prefers resized pellets.

While I DON'T resize within a given caliber .... Do and have resized to CHANGE caliber of a pellet so greater weights or differing profile could be shot in said caliber that otherwise don't exist. Last pic is a JSB18.1 resized, it shoots fantastic !!!

Case in point here: .22 caliber JSB HADES run threw a resizing die to become .20 cal HADES ( Done standard JSB 15.9's & 18.1's too )

Food for thought .......

With all the testing I've done, I'm not convinced that sizing is a benefit. Mainly because when you push a pellet through a sizing die, the head and skirt diameter come out the same. I've measured a bunch of pellets from the tin and usually the skirt is slightly larger than the head. That makes sense because when you push the pellet into the barrel, the skirt will seal against the bore better. But if sizing works for you, then go for it.
