Pellets for sale: in the classifieds

What type of scale do you sorters use for pellets?
I have never weighed nor sorted before, but practicing for RMAC’24, feel like I should.

Agree 100%. People are reselling the damaged ones. Bent up skirts etc. Not to mention the !!** ones that sell at a higher price than you can get them from PA. Lmao. Finally they are an item that is just way to easily damaged in shipping and you have no idea if they will truly be packed right. I know PA will. I will be hard pressed to buy On here again. I will say though, I recently met a member locally and bought some and they were solid. Other times not so much.

You make a solid point, I don't shoot much past 50-75 yards so I can get by with not sorting. I've never actually checked head size, but make sure the skirts aren't smashed. I even toss them out of the plinking box if they're too bad.

I think it is terrible someone would sell their rejects and not disclose that piece of information. I've purchased pellets many times here on AGN and until reading this thread thought I had very good luck with my purchases. Looking back I think I may have gotten some tins of rejects here or there just due to oddly higher number of pellets with dinged skirts. But I don't have any fact to back that up. Also most tins have gotten mixed together over time so I don't know what was from who any longer.

There is one sales thread I've seen re-listed a few times over the past month or two which did flag me to the exact topic of this thread, so I was not at all surprised when it was started to read people's experience. In this thread the person is selling pellets in bags, no tins at all shown. Something just doesn't feel right.
