I have seen many videos with the pellet spirals, and have had it happen to me. What causes this? too much pressure? pellet too heavy?

I (think) had pellet spiralling issues in my FX Impact when shooting on Power Wheel # 5 / 26 gr Predator Polymags / 960 fps - 970 fps.
Turning the Power Wheel to # 1 took the velocity down to 770 - 780 ... At that velocity - I haven't had ANY spiralling issues.
I have No idea about the why/what of the "science" is behind how velocity impacts spiralling.
But, If you have a way to reduce the power/speed - give it a go and let us know if that fixed it!
