Watching videos on different pellet size within tins of pellets, I decided to purchase a pelletgage. I bought several tins of pellets for .30 FX Wildcat and thought I would try it out. Here are the results. I would like your opinion on why the JSB Diablos are so much larger that the 7.62 listed on tin.
JSB Hades .30 44.75 gr
1st tin - 7 at 7.61mm 2nd tin - 12 at 7.61mm
91 at 7.62mm 78 at 7.62mm
52 at 7.63mm 59 at 7.63mm
JSB Diablo .30 44.75 gr
35 at 7.65 mm
119 at 7.70 mm
JSB Diablo .30 50.15 gr
36 at 7.65mm
114 at 7.70mm
If pellet sizing is supposed to make such a difference, how can we tune our rifles when the pellet size is so much greater than advertised? Does this really have any effect on accuracy?
