One person's "hoarding" is another persons planning ahead and buying when funds and supplies permit.

Buy it cheap, stack it deep!

When it comes to having enough ammo. Different people have different comfort level.

• I remember many years ago, before a friends get together, finding out that so-and-so boyfriend was a hunter. So we organized a range-session prior to the gathering... To quote the guy "we went through more ammo in that one session than he did in the last decade"...
• To him, 1x ox of 30-06 was enough and 2x was border line excessive... His reaction was priceless when one of the guy had brought a spam-can on 7.62x54R

I tend to buy a batch at a time, and its not to often. I take advantage of PA's buy 3 get one free, and then the $150 spent is free shipping. I just break the $150 mark when I order. For the most part I just get what I will shoot and might add in something different just to try out.
