Does anyone know why pellets are shaped like pellets (mushrooms), and not like bullets? It seems the bullet shape would be far more aerodynamic.

Mr. gadgets I was thinking the same thing, I'm going to find out in the future... It may be a while until I build a mold. When I do I will let you know how they come out and if there any better? I'm thinking why you don't see them may be because of excess weight? The length of the pellet,,,,, so it fits into a clip? As short as a pellet is it would be hard to make a tapered pellet. Not sure but I think if you load one at a time you could make them longer and make a good flying pellet ....only if it wouldn't add to much weight to the pellet. I'm just guessing here?
