Pellet orders?

What is up with the pellet orders? We finally see some in stock.

across 3 orders from 3 places, I have ordered about 8000 rounds of JSB-ish.

1. TalonTunes: 3 out of 4 tins of .22 25gr FX pellets. The way they were packed it was obvious that severely damaged tins were intentionally sent - at $25 a tin. Still waiting on that refund, Tony.

2. AoA: 5 tins of JSB 18gr. taped together and sent in an oversized, empty box. Box arrived about half original size, and you can imagine how the tins looked. Sent back.

3. Just today, I got my PA order, 8 tins of JSB 18gr. They came in the normal foam cutouts, except there was NO PADDING on the top and bottom. Guess what was all crushed in like someone had a pogo stick contest on top of them? YES, SENDING THEM BACK.

I am really frustrated and disappointed that ammo is finally available, except its not. Why can places no longer package and ship these in a way that they arrive safely?

I have 4 tins of beasts and a tin of some Gamo pellets on the way, in Germany the tracking said ( sorted by hand ) which do worry me a bit as i have never seen that before on a tracking number ( by GLS or who ever )

I did get 4 tins of the JSB .177 slugs from the same place a little while back, and they arrived in stellar condition ( okay packaging though not impressive ).

Alternative a few days ago i got my new scope from Krale, the scope in its box was just inside another box large enough for 2 scopes, so all protection was down to what ever was on the scope inside the factory box.

I am going to pick up 10 tins of redesigns and probably a few more beasts when i pick up my Maverick,,,,,, well i hope unless he run out, i am not going to do a internet purchaser.

Besides i have enough 3200 Slugs and about 8000 assorted pellets ( mostly JSB )

People should see how we shipped super expensive gears for MRI scanners to Israel,,,,,,,,, not that dropping the close to 1 ton heavy pallet off a fork lift would not have created some problems, at least a return shipping and additional testing in the test stand to make sure.

Due diligence people due diligence ;-)

places cant get good help or enough help so theyre hiring dpshts off the street with no questions and throwing them in there .. i see it everyday where i work ... this is how the end of american greatness looks .. no productivity and a bunch of whining liberal socialists that want a free handout and want to sit home and collect a check ...

Or, hear me out here... someone just made an honest mistake and forget the end pieces of foam. Maybe it was someone's first day on the job. Who knows. I got an order in from Pyramyd today as well and guess what? Everything was perfect. Do people not realize how dumb they sound when they try to make every single little thing into a political problem?

It's Pyramydair. They'll make it right.

Yes, already got the return label printed. But for something like this, when is it going to be right? "Right" was the chance to ship something correctly the first time. Not like PA doesn't know how to ship pellets. The thing is, there was no room in the box for the top and bottom. They just put the metal of the tins straight against the box wall. That's not a "forgot to put a piece in", that is intentionally packing it in a way that is not sufficient.

Now maybe I'll just drink enough that the next 6 months will go by and maybe they'll have some more in stock then.

The H&N tins I get are pretty tough and would take a lot to destroy/damage. How bad of shape did the tins come in? I'm just curious as I've seen a few posts about pellet tins being damaged but no one ever shows pictures. I like my guns and accessories shipped well but I'm not too concerned about my pellets. I figure they should be ok for the most part as they come in a tin. I've had good luck with everyone I've bought from. PA/AD, AOA, Utah, Straightshooters.

PA order today, photos are hard to see the damage, but they almost universally had the raised part of the lid inverted, and one of them ended up curved like (
While these may have been the least apparent damaged, they were all smashed badly, and you could really tell when handling them.

FX pellets from TT
the top two tins had dents on bottom too, like some metal claw squeezed them! But the box and packaging were in great shape.
3 of the 4 tins came without the seal, and the pellets in them had badly dented skirts.
