Pellet lube?

I usually use FP 10. I guess the oil should be as light as possible in order to spread evenly. Is FP 10 ok to use?

I use a few drops bicycle chain lube.
Maybe 15 drops for 500 pellets after they are hydrostatically cleaned..

I use silicone spray. After they've been washed and thoroughly dried.

After I wash mine in hot soapy water, and dry them with a hair dryer, I spritz them with Houdini 4 way lock spray from Walmart. I dunno, just seems to work fine for me. The side of the can says it cleans, lubricates, and protects. Has no teflon no silicone, no grease, no oil, no graphite and doesn't gum up. and puts an anti-rust/corrosion protection on things. I'd really like to try pure beeswax spray and the bicycle chain lube mentioned above, but my wallet never opened up that far haha. I think ultimately it's up to you. I'd try 30-40 pellets with various protectants and see what satisfies you.

if and when i lube pellets i use very light spritz lemon pledge spray on a hand towel (old one ) then roll the pellets in it like a hammock , again very little spritz .

I use a dry lube HBN-hexagonal boron nitride ...slick stuff, but can get messy
Better or Worse than petroleum lubes ...meh ...about the same, but I'll keep using it til I run out
a little 2oz jar goes a loooong ways
