Pellet Container Idea. (Show us whatcha got)

I had an idea that was sparked from another post asking a question.

https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/pellet-container/

I thought that I would make a new post to share my idea (may not original but it was to me at the moment) with the rest of you. I hope that it will be useful to some of you.

This is a copy and paste response of mine to the OP linked above.

I had an idea. I wrote it up step by step and it vanished! ARRRRRRGGGGGG!!!

Maybe you can imagine the instructions from the pictures. I’m NOT rewriting it. Ha ha!

10.3 JSBs are 1/4” long. Final drill bit size was 19/64” for the hole in the tin. Tightened tin and marked it. Backed off about 1”, marked and drilled up from small size to final sized hole. Debarred sharp edges and filled with pellets to test.

Gently shake to drop one pellet at a time without worry of dumping a whole tin. Tighten up for safe and secure transport.

Genius. I will be doing this. Even better is the process itself is easily repeatable -- reuse the modified tin until it wears out and then simply modify the next tin. Thank you for sharing this! This is better than dumping the tin out into the lid and plucking them or the hassle of plucking them from a full tin.

Love this and will be making one small change- I use old crosman screw off top tins to hold my JSB pellets; much safer than having the JSB tin top popping off

I'll have to experament, but I think I can put the hole in two separate places between the sides of the lid and tin TOP, and clean up the threads to still allow the lid to twist off .

Turn the holes to match to dispense, but keep enough threads engaged for securing the two pieces together.

Your original idea is easily followed so thank you for sharing. I have zero confusion here and if anything I might try a dremel cone for cutting it to avoid bit chatter and a smoother edge. This is said not to convey that you're [sic] idea is dumb or ineffectively communicated but rather to say thank you and it also gave me an idea :)
