That's what mine look like after I shoot my steel gong. Must be going through the wood, hitting the aluminum plate and bouncing back out.

They're just sandwiched between the plywood and backing and the when I pick up the target some fall out.

Out of curiosity- What size pellet are you using, and how fast are they getting there?

I got creative with some that i found under my target. These are box crosman premier 10.5 grain shot at 765 fps and the bigger ones are .22 cal jsb 15.89 grain shot at 680 fps. target is a small 1/8th" steel plate at 65 yards.

Yes, That's right. Diablo heavy at 18.13 but only at the 30 yard target. I also tried the Nielson 28 gn type ammo hoping I'd like them more but my Cricket doesn't shoot them very well with a 2" group at 30 yards. They sure look good though and was hoping that with my windy conditions and heavier weight they'd fly better.
