Pellet Accuracy . . . By brand type or Lot #

With all here shooting really well and having guns that provide the basis for that performance, I have a question.
I know how it is with RF powder burners and am wondering how it is with pellets considering, brand, weight and pellet type.
I'm guessing when one finds a pellet that provides for precise shooting that they should assume the lot number is good in their gun so so does it extend beyond lot number to all pellets of that brand and weight?

this is a guess not a fact.
your odds will be better to stay with same pellet after you run out of that lot number.
after i thought a minute, i would not buy a bunch of a different lot number. 
if you need more, ask the seller to sell you a tin that he hss plenty of. if you like um, buy more.
