Peep sights and Oldspooks ten dimes challenge is kicking my butt...... lol

This morning I modified Oldspooks target by blacking out the dime size portion of the target. I shot it five times and have learned a bunch about peep sights but apparently still have a lot to learn. I can tell you for a 57 yo those bulls eyes are tiny at 25 yards. These are the last two targets I shot and eye fatigue was getting to me. In the first image there are two #4's ( I worked all night last night and haven't had a nap, lol), target #7 has more than 3 shots, I tend to lose my focus when I'm tired.

Thanks Gary. I have glasses for reading and distance, at least the front sight is in focus, lol. Right now it seems canting is part of my problem and I'm not convinced these AA 7.87's are the best pellets for this rifle. I'm really starting to believe that I need to mount a scope on it to find the best pellet, then work on my peep sight skills.

If anyone wants to try this I'll see if I can post the pdf. I hope Oldspook doesn't mind me altering his target.

the front sight is all that should be in focus. Back when I shot a lot, my shooting monocle was custom made to focus at 29" which is the distance to my front sight. If your eyes are getting tired, perhaps you might be focusing on the target instead of the front sight.
