Suggestions needed: I’m thinking seriously about replacing the scope on my Hatsan 95 with a peep sight. Is anyone using a setup like that? Did you keep the FO front sight? Which peep works best on that rifle?

I don't have Hatsan 95, but this is how I did it on my 125TH. I hope this will give you some idea.
I filed my scope rail down where Peep sight sits - The front sight is just too low with Williams sight.

Fair question. I have a red dot on an AR and it’s certainly easy to use. I also have a scope on my RWS D34 and it’s a tack driver. I just find peep sights fun and a little more challenging than using an optic.

I'm more comfortable with peep site. All my fire arms are peep sight (AKs, ruger 10/22, etc). You don't need it if you are comfortable with other sights. It is a personal thing.
