Afternoon everyone,
I recently had a need to change vehicles going from a pickup to an SUV. The truck had plenty of room to stash a couple rifles and I kept a break barrel and a rimfire under the seat. Both will now be stored all the way in back and the break barrel is a little bit tight for my liking. I’m seriously considering replacing it with a pcp, specifically a Maximus. It gets a bit warm down here in the summer and my concern is air pressure going past safe limits during the day. It’s a white car with a light color interior and that helps but still looking at highs in the 90’s. If I fill the air tank to about half pressure will that be a safe move? Not carrying a pump, just basic stuff so I can shoot 25 shots before refill. I always keep at least modest air pressure in all my pcp rifles. Safe move? Thanks.
