Ok...Thanks. With those diameters, shooting commercial slugs is a bit pointless. Or does anyone have a better experience?

I just got a V3 .25, It shoots AVS .2553 slugs.

Do you think it will shoot .254 slugs? I'm debating a V3 and I have quite a few .254s.

I don't know,I've only shot .2553 slugs from avs.

Does anyone know which manufacturer's barrel the Vulcan 3 is? I remember seeing somewhere that it would be Alpha Precision... Maybe on Krales webpage...If is AP barrel it is worth finding out the groove diameter. I bought an Alpha Precision .22 barrel for Edgun, last summer and .22 airgun slugs could drop almost through.
.220-.221 is closer when groove diameter was measured. Don't know if that's the only one... I don't know anyone here who has the same barrel in .22 size.

The now new made Vulcan 3 has an CZub barrel. Alfa barrel’s are to hard to come by, cause of some issues in central Europe…..I have an early Vulcan 3 700 in .22 with an Alfa barrel which I like very much.
