Thinking about purchasing pcp, I have found several that could work. Rti Prophet 3, Airmaks Krait X, Taipan Veteran 2 with 550 mm barrel. tube version, Fx Panthera barrel 600 mm. or Brocock Ghost hp when mounting factory slug barrel.

With your real experience, which one do you recommend? It should not be too long or too heavy, maximum 8.5 pounds. .22 or .25 caliber, which one will resist the wind better? Shot count is not important to me. Greetings.

You have a fantastic list and I do not think you could go wrong with any on there. Since your requirements are 100-200yds with slugs, I would opt for the Panthera but it is longish or BRK Ghost which is a bullpup, both have lots of power on tap for LR.

I'd add the AGT Vulcan 3. I shot a buddy's at RMAC and I was very impressed with it. They're also very reasonably priced.

Thanks for the answers. I add the Vulcan 3 long 700mm to the list. Regarding the .22 or .25 caliber? I live in a valley where the wind blows many days and I have a house in the mountains where it changes direction quite a bit. They say that the Altaros Atp smooth slugs have a higher ballistic coefficient. What caliber will resist the wind best?

Are you limiting yourself to bull pup/black rifles or are you open to traditional wood and steel rifles like an FX Crown .30 or a Daystate Wolverine in .303

I prefer bullpup or semi-bullpup although I made an exception with the Panthera because with the 600 mm barrel. They say it works well with slugs, a lot of power, and The barrel/plenum system makes it more consistent without changes in p.o.i. Not .30 caliber, due to lack of variety and availability of ammunition and too noisy.

Can the Vulcan 3 trigger pull be left below 1 pound? Can the hammer spring be adjusted from the outside or does the stock have to be removed? I guess it rides barrel Cz. In .25 caliber, what slugs could work?

I would say almost every modern PCP system is able to shoot slugs with crazy accuracy. However, the barrel uniformity is crucial. Pellets forgive a lot. Slugs do not.

I think I'm going to go with .25 caliber. To adjust the tension of the hammer spring, do you have to remove the stock on the Vulcan 3? What is the Uragan 600mm like? or 700 mm. compared to the Vulcan for L.R. with slugs.

You have to remove the stock, but is different to the Uragan. You need to screw clockwise in the rear of the rifle, not Infront of the trigger as in the Uragan.

AGT Uragan or Vulcan & read up on bore/groove spec & match slugs accordingly . These are very accurate airguns with great barrels.

Does anyone know which manufacturer's barrel the Vulcan 3 is? I remember seeing somewhere that it would be Alpha Precision... Maybe on Krales webpage...If is AP barrel it is worth finding out the groove diameter. I bought an Alpha Precision .22 barrel for Edgun, last summer and .22 airgun slugs could drop almost through.
.220-.221 is closer when groove diameter was measured. Don't know if that's the only one... I don't know anyone here who has the same barrel in .22 size.
