pcp Rifles- foot pounds energy

Is there any pcp air rifles I can buy for less then 500 dollars that have over 35 ft lb of energy?

A lot of these manufacturers claim they have but in online reviews there no where near

SPA M10 less than 300dollars in 22cal its putting out 33FPE but applying little more hammer spring tension it gives 52FPE. I have heavily modified M10 with 224 barrel giving 110FPE with 61gr bullet. Cheap easy to build and with 52FPE you should get close to 20shots.

What is the magic of 35fpe? Shoot'em twice with 18 fpe and call it good?





Really, shot placement is where the game is for airguns. 100 yards is cool, but not really needed most of the time.

A used .25 mrod puts out about 42 ft-lbs stock and you could find one in the classifieds for about 300 to 350 shipped. With modifications you could do, a mrod could put out 50 ft-lbs or more depending on what you do.

You could also get a used AF for about 500 and those can put out serious power.
