I've already asked this question but I just want to be sure. If I fill a Benjamin Discovery to its optimal shooting range and only take a few shots while hunting, is there anything I need to do? Or just top it off the next time I want to shoot it and leave the excess air in the reservoir? Thanks

Yes pcp guns are designed to stay filled all the time. Just like the air tanks used to fill them. I think most people top their guns off before storing them so they are ready to go at a moments notice. That's what I do anyway.

Besides compressing air is a lot of work. Both hand pumping and for hpa compressors. Why waste the effort by dumping the air.

Leaving a gun with air in it actually helps to keep the seals in place, at least on a PCP that was designed for it, like a discovery.
