Hatsan PCP needs repair in less than 24 hours

Have a situation, I purchased a Hatsan BT65SB in 177. The O Rings on the fill probe. Caught and ripped on the sides of the fill port. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to fill the gun off of a tank. That now again, I know that. I will need a compressor strong enough to get past 100 bar. Used my compressor to fill to 200 bar, after 90 min the air tube leaked to 70 bar, and over night there was a snap and the air tube is at 0. This all happened in less than 24 hours with my first PCP. After sending a email and leaving a voice mail with hatsan. There has been no response. Should I just submit the RMA, or wait a week?

in my experience hatsan will take its time but get back to you .. getting a gun repaired 'correctly 100%' and back to you id say would be a long iffy process and i wouldnt do it myself .. if you have the option for refund id either do that, or its pretty easy to open a gun up, measure and order orings on ebay, smooth out rough edges on mating surfaces with like 600g paper and diy ..

@AirGNoob - Unfortunately that sounds exactly like Hatsan. I have not heard many kind words about Hatsan or their products. I suggest returning the rifle and start over with a different brand of PCP.

I would recommend a Benjamin Marauder, a Daystate Regal, Weihrauch 100/110 or an FX dreamwhatevertheycallitnowadays over a Hatsan.

Life is too short to deal with a crappy PCP.

There is a really good vendor here in Michigan, might want to give him a call. https://myhighpressureair.com/

I appreciate the response. But trust me, I am the last person that should take sand paper of any grit to anything that is not wood, I will break something beyond repair. Choose hatsan do to having PCP's. With multiple calibers with decent power.

If that is the case. Are the air venturi avengers worth it?

It's a bummer it happened so early in ownership, but these hatsans are really good guns for the price, use this as a learning experience and watch a few YouTube vids on your hatsan, normally a few o-rings from harbor freight and some 400-600 grit wet/dry sand paper will fix 99% of pcp leaks, mean while ask hatsan to send their oring set , usually takes about 3 days for email response, some new guns give you some orings automatically in shipped box. You'll be surprised how easily they are to work on.

Self-admittedly, you should not attempt to repair it. I'd fill out an rma ticket. Just tell them you filled it and it's not holding air at all. If you can, get your money back. I've had quite a few airguns. Cheap, expensive, you name it. I've had 2 hatsans, and have had and do have multiple issues with them. Still have one, and it is my least favorite gun by a long shot.
