Hi All, The rifle is a Remmington Airacobra .177 with a trigger upgrade. Problem is with the 14 shot magazine - o ring has broken.after after about 250 loads I have 2 magazines and both mags have broken O rings. How long should they last. I am in the UK. Does anyone know where i can purchase the O ring as mag replacement at £25-30 each is a joke scenaria. Thanks

If you can determine the oring’s outside diameter and cross section width, you can order as many as you want cheap from someplace like this:
I’m not familiar with the Airacobra, but I will say that mag orings—or any internal orings for that matter—probably shouldn’t be breaking after only 250 rounds. The fact that it’s happened to both magazines indicates that either Remington opted for low-grade orings and ordering replacements will solve it, or that there’s something off with the magazine well on the gun, a protrusion or something that’s stressing the rubber each time you insert/remove the mag. Maybe someone else who has experience with this particular gun can chime in.

Perhaps if you bring your broken o-ring to a hardware store, they can match it up. When you change it, use a little silicone grease on it for longevity.

Look for a seal supplier by you
Lots of them around and just take the mag with you and they will match it up.
Most have a trade counter.
A couple of pence each I should imagine.
Or go online and buy imperial and metric oring sets and find the diameter that works for you

O-rings are quite tough and should last much longer than 250 shots.
You should check to see if there is a burr or sharp edge that is damaging the o-ring.

Hi there my first post
. Quick question I purchased a airacorba and I’m having the same issues, did the new o rings work or was there another problem? I’m finding it loads ok with pellets in the magazine but when you retract the bolt probe, there is abit of resistance and think the o ring is catching 2 recesses on the end of the pellet probe and damaging it . When you use the single pellet holder there is no issue . many thanks Rex
