PCP General Information Question

Alcon, I am new to the PCP world. I bought a Nova Freedom about a year ago and I like it very much. I am not rich so it took me a while to get up the nerve to spend so much on an air rifle that I had only seen working on YouTube.

My question is this: Are there any brick and mortar stores on the east coast (I am in Florida) where someone could go and tryout other PCP air guns. I am interested in all things PCP and I await the new issue of Pyramid Air with bated breath. However I cannot justify spending thousands on something I have never seen in person.

Whenever I mention PCP to anyone they assume I am talking about drugs. I am the only person I know in my area that even has a PCP.

Thanks for your time and advice.

Thomas, to follow up on what Chip stated, DeSoto Airgunners meet once a month for some Field Target and Benchrest shooting. We would be glad to have you come by and check us out. However, you are about 4 hours from the Arcadia Gun Club. You might be better off checking out SPAW Airguns in Yulee, FL. Like stated earlier, Ken Hicks doesn't have a brick and mortar store but if you attend one of his benchrest contests or give him a call I'll bet he would be glad to show you what he offers. Below, I've listed links for both venues.

ps You don't have to be rich or spend a lot of money on an airgun. I started shooting Field Target with a $150 Benjamin Marauder and a $75 used 3-9x scope.

Most airgunners will be glad to help you out and get you started in the correct direction, depending on your interest.
