N/A PCP for neighbor

Not a exact recommendation (as theres a really wide variety these days) but with the way you're making him sound, sounds like he'd do wonders with a pcp tuned down to around 12ft lbs. More than enough power for headshots on squirrels, but tuned down for 12ft lbs means you can fill whatever the pcp is for him and it'll last for him tons of pesting work. Could even plink and still have plenty of juice left before next refill

Some good advice so far, the only thing I would add is to pick something in 22 or 25 Cal simply because some of us have trouble loading those tiny 177 into mags. And at your neighbors age I suspect he would prefer something a little bigger to grab onto when loading.

I am happy to do it. I have too many airguns. I am 70 years old and have no children or family to leave anything to. I tried to sell some, but few buyers these days. I cannot take airguns to the donation store so if someone needs it I just give it away. It helps them, it helps me.

I have nothingt to suggest that beats a free airgun but I have an idea for shipment. I recently used Pirate Ship to send a scope back to Athlon and it was very painless and I think I may have saved a little. You should check out their website.

I sent a 17lb package to TN today from Atlanta insured for $800. $23 for UPS shipping. Pirateship is awesome 44”x”16x7”

Mine went UPS too and was smaller and lighter and about half as much. I put the label from pirate ship on the box and took it to the closest UPS. They gave me a receipt. No issues at all. Took less time at UPS than if I had shipped directly with them.
