Do you mean scuba tanks or SCBA tanks? If you can afford a quality compressor, you can and should buy an SCBA tank rather than a scuba tank. Metal scuba tanks are heavy, unwieldy compared to SCBA tanks and only fill to 3000 psi. or 232 bar.

You didn't mention a price range which is a huge consideration for any compressor recommendation. Since you are filling tanks, portability is a distant third priority given the fact that the tank will provide portability 99.9% of the time. It's easier to own multiple tanks than lugging around a compressor if portability is a major priority.
