PCP collection near complete

My collection of PCP rifles has taken many turns over the years. Starting with a Hatsan AT44 Tactical in .25 back in 2006. I’ve done numerous disco conversions, had a BT65 that was putting out just a hair over 100FPE in .25 cal then came my first high end rifle. An FX impact MK2 in .22 cal. Meanwhile the collection grew and shrank , I continued modifying , caliber swaps , valve mods and a few valves made from scratch. Now I’ve got just about all my bases covered through 5 different calibers as I mostly shoot paper throughout the year but do hunt small game during the fall. My latest rifle is still on the bench as I’m waiting for one final component to get it finished off. I don’t usually post about what I have in stock but I’m pretty pleased with what I’ve accumulated over the years . Here’s the list top to bottom .
Winchester 70-35 ( .257 cal conversion) 140 fpe
Rapid MKII .25 cal 65 fpe
AAA Paradigm .22 cal 50 fpe
Evanix K550 .224 slug shooter 60 fpe
HW100 .22 cal 30 fpe
Missing bench gun
HW100 .177 cal 18 fpe
RWS850 .177 cal 12 fpe

There are two missing from the pic , a .257 discovery which is a never ending project and a Leshiy 2 in you guessed it my favorite caliber .25. The last stays in the case ready for the truck as hunting season is fast approaching. Do I have too many, yes more than likely. Do I shoot them as often as I probably should , no but that’s going to change now that I’ve got my own 100 yard range.
What’s the last missing one on the bench you ask. Well it’s yet another HW100 , this time in .20 caliber . I just had to have one in each caliber , only not available here in Canada so I gathered the parts to make one.

I am very fortunate. I have a good job and a loving wife. We were able to purchase 35 acres of land where we plan to build our retirement home in a few years. I don’t have any pics of my range as with everything when purchasing vacant land it’s a work in progress. I’ve got some .22lr spinning targets set up at 25 , 50 and 100 yards. I print paper targets to paste on shipping boxes I get from work. Not much to look at but it’s much better than the 10 meter basement range I’ve been using for the last few years .

Hobbyman, 😊

you've done good.

Keep up the good work.
Don't you stop collecting more guns.
(Otherwise, others here at AGN might have to arrive at the same conclusion as you: that "their gun collection is complete."
And then — they'd have to stop buying more guns!!
And we really don't want that now, do we?)

🔸️ A few things are clear:
⁍ You like wood guns.
⁍ You like traditional rifles.
⁍ You like scope sun shades.
⁍ You have a good grasp on how to cover your bases for airgunning.
⁍ You have a very nice 100y gun range — that you really ought to invite AGN members* who live close by.

⁍ I fail at each one of those things above..... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Matthias 😊

* Don't worry about me, I'm only asking a favor for others — as I live 6000km (4000M) away from you! 😆

very observant

I would love to have air gun meets at my new place. There’s a powder burner range only minutes away but none of the members are interested in our BB guns. I am a member there and do shoot my air rifles there from time to time.

I do like sun shades , pretty obvious. And as you can see most are wearing Discovery optics. Pretty good bang for the buck in my opinion. Especially on a PCP with no recoil .

What I meant was my PCP collection was almost complete. I failed to mention , springers, pumpers, gas rams , CO2 . Those don’t count and I’m certainly not done with those. I have a hankering for a silver streak , possibly could be talked into another gas ram and if one came up in the right caliber and the right price AA pro sport.
