Pard NV008P LRF, possible to set the range finder crosshair once to work

Bought this little scope LOVE it so far.. BUT! setting the rangefinder crosshair works great for lest say 40 yards, then its off for anything more or less, so what is the purpose of having one? you can still see the laser flashing whatever distance , sorry maybee its med not knowing how to set it if possible for all ranges, otherwise I really dont understand why its there,,,,, is it possible to remove the crosshair on the display?

Its there as a rough estimate I'd say, you can adjust where the crosshairs are for it but for it to constantly adjust to every distance no.

Theres a video on adjusting where the xhairs for it are on YouTube. As for getting rid of the xhairs are for it I'm not sure. 

I think it has to do with the range finder being beside the bore not over or under it. Way she goes bud.

problem is, in daylight you cant se the flashing laser... so it would be nice having the crossair exactly at the same point as the laser in any distance, specially when pointing at small areas, but it is what it is.

Yeah it's off to the side, sometimes way off. You have to make the compensation before shooting. FYI I find the laser sometimes easier to see in black and white.

Zero the LRF crosshairs with the beam on 13x at 100yds.

Doing it nightvision mode to see the beam easier. 

Works a lot more accurately and consistently in day mode.

Do this after you have sighted in the gun.

Sorry, I dont follow , what is specific with 13x and 100 yards? 

For example, If I want the LRF to be most accurate between 10-50 yards, do I still "calibrate" it to 100 yards 13x

hi i bought a pard 008s lrf and my laser finder is off to the left can i line it up with my crosshairs as it is it nearly impossible to use.any advice would be very welcome.im not great with computers so if you could explain it as simple as possible.

The laser and the reticule will never align at all ranges bar the one you zeroed at. I don’t use the laser personally.
I find the PARD magnificent for night ratting, but generally use a Mk1 glass scope for 99% of my shooting.

I wish I had of known that before I bought it the only thing I can use the rangefinder is barns and big flat surface no chance of it picking up a crow in a tree at any distance.

if you need to move the LRF aiming box:
1. Find a suitable range – 25-50m
2. During Night or Low Light Time 3. Select Night Mode
4. Turn on the LRF a. You should now see the flashing of the laser
5. Open the Main Menu
6. LONG Press of the + Button
7. Use the + and – with OK to move between them
8. Once happy – Short Press of the MENU Button to save.
