Pard Batteries

My Pard NV007S uses 18650 3.7 volt rechargeable batteries. Both the one that came with the Pard and two that I bought after last maybe 20-25 minutes.
Does anyone have any ideas on a longer lasting brand or is that the best I'll get.
I just posted this on another thread. I don't know what mAh rating the unit comes with, but I suspect it can be improved by getting a 3400-3500 mAh battery from a reputable manufacturer like Nitecore, Orbtronic or Samsung. Stay clear of pretty much the rest of what you find, they tend to EXAGGERATE there rating. If you have an old laptop battery, break it open to find several 18650's inside. They won't be 3400mAh but most times it's just one out of the bunch that went bad so you'll have several to swap with. They will most likely be flat top batteries and in the event the Pard needs a button top, all I do is put a small magnet on top to increase the length. A charger like the XTAR VC4 available from Amazon has a fast and slow charger that works much better than the charging port that comes with the things they are used in.

I have not had that type of battery drain on any of my PARDS - including the SA32! Like everyone else has said, buy good quality batteries and it makes all the difference in the world. And I'm like @Vetmex and take 3 or 4 with me! I have a couple of 9900 mAh batteries and they last a couple hours each using the internal IR. But I do put the PARD to "sleep" when I'm taking a break or using the thermal monocular to locate vermin to shoot - which helps.
