If your not allowed to remove the barrel , how are you going to replace it ? It does not appear to have a large magazine opening to work with .

The barrel can be removed. It is pretty simple to do. You just cannot change calibers by yourself or that is my understanding.
I was at the local shop last week and watched them remove the barrel from a 700mm Panthera. If I recall it was not much different than removing a barrel from a crown except the barrel clamp at the front of the plenum. Which was two screws then two grub screws on each side of the block.
