Paintball tank question

My son helped me get a 68ci paintball tank. I ordered a new valve to use it to fill my rifles. Got it put on today. All good so far.

So now the question,  have a Hatsan Spark and I know it is not good to fill the bottle. I don;t want to tear it up as it works well for my rifles.

Could one put some air in the tank to check for any leaks or would it be a case of don't know it it leaks at 4500 psi till I fill it to 4500psi.

I will be getting in touch with some dive shops next week. I am involved with music all of this week.

Thanks for any replies

God Bless

Thanks for your reply. Yes I thought more about it and figured my question as stupid.

I knew that I would not get many refills on a tank that size. I just wanted a couple to keep my guns from becoming heavy sticks if I ever get to shoot somewhere other than my yard.

I am told that there is a air gun club close to me so I might get to shoot with some one else and I might get to hunt a bit. At the very least it is a new adventure for me, something I have never done before.

Have a great day and may God Bless

I had couple of these smaller 1 litter CO2 steel bottles from time my kids were playing paintball (still have that gear over ten years sitting in a closet in my garage).

I got couple 1500 and 1800 psi regulators and replaced on the bottle and I was tethering for some two+ years I had a basic QB78. Aliexpress have a wide range of (paintball tank) regulators and you can eventually rework for your custom pressure.
