Paintball Bottle to fill my PCP?

Hello Fellas!

I just bought this brand new 4500 bottle from a guy who no longer needed it and I would like to use it to fill my FX PCP

I know that to fill the bottle I need to connect my compressor hose to the nipple on the left, but how do i fill the gun from the bottle? What do I need to buy?

I never used a bottle before😩

Thanks!

What psi is marked on the regulator on the bottle. The ones used for paintball usually put out 800 psi. I use that same bottle and tether it to my gun with an adapter similar to this one (I don't like the coiled hoses that come with some of these so I replaced it with a straight hose)

I went through a few regulators on mine but never really warmed up to them so now I use a non regulated fitting on the bottle and top my condor off every couple of shots, a pain for most ppl but it gives me the best accuracy consistency.
Just have to be cautious of the 4500 psi going into my 3K bottle, very serious so I don't take it lightly.

When i get my own compressor, even if its one that can easy fill large bottles, i have contemplated to just get a smaller bottle ( 6 L VS the large 12 L i use now )

I think 6 L will still keep me in the green for even one of my long sessions ( about 1000 .177 shots ) and my two 12 L bottles, well still SOB heavy even if the 300 BAR one are a CF bottle then its only a hybrid CF bottle so not much weight saved VS my 12 L 200 BAR bottle thats all steel.

6 L all CF,,,,,, thats like a breeze in comparison i am sure.

My gun uses about 75psi per shot, I shoot 48g slugs at 3050 bottle psi (965 fps) and I can get about 30 good shots from that bottle.

Because all gauges can easily differ +/- 200 I go by my compressor gauge which is larger. I take it up to 4400 psi and my bottle always shows about 4300 psi

I always use the compressor gauge just for psi consistency.

I use the one @Rickrick linked from Palmer's Pursuit to tether on a regulated bottle and just ordered the one from AirgunArchery for small bottle fill station in the woods on unregulated bottle... I don't like to leave the SCBA bottle parked on the side of the road while hunting. Figure I am better to lose a used paintball bottle if the car gets smash and grabbed. Sidenote, Palmers Pursuit is about 2 miles from my place. I didn't know until I ordered a part from them on the auction site several years ago and it said it was shipping from up the road. It's nice to have some crossover paintball specialty parts available so close!

This is the way. I have a 110ci Guppy tank that works great for 5-7 fills of my 3k psi guns. But driving 2 hours and paying $5 for air is arduous. If I could fill it off of a small Air Venturi compressor or something, I would be a happy camper. I have also contemplated filling the tank with my Hill hand pump over the course of several days, but have yet to actually try it.

My bottle (pictured) has a male end and so does the item that you linked....do they make one with a female attachment??
You would not be able to fill using the valve installed on that bottle. Period. You can replace that valve with something like this https://eastcoastpaintball.com/prod...ZTdKk3uMtOAzJMjognS3xvpRTZqkbT0oaAiHeEALw_wcB

I have purchased two of those for 90ci bottles that I already had from paintball and replaced the valves. They do work very well and are Ninja so they have good product and stand behind their gear. I am always very wary of buying China products when dealing with these types of things...so buy once cry once.

Yes I see what you are talking about now…purge the air and replace the whole thing

Can you recommend a less expensive one?

you swap the current valve with the one I sent the link to... it is important to know what threads your bottle has before ordering. I sent the link for the standard version, there is also metric version. The valve can be a booger to remove. I typically use some combination of vice, wood on jaws and a strap wrench for factory valves. This fill station valve allows you to fill the bottle through foster, fill an airgun through hose and release pressure in hose with a bleed valve so you can remove hose from airgun.

Sam thanks...I think I will order that one

I bought the tank here in the USA so the threads SHOULD be ok...do you think?
