@blackpaw While I don’t have the resources, time, or distance to test more guns or further out, here is a screenshot from my review pitting Hades, Heavies, & Hybrids against each other at 45 yards with the .25 Cricket. Hope that helps a bit.

Kind of what I am talking about!!! But again, brand to brand. I remember the original Top Gear guys asked several of the super car manufactures to do a side by side comparison of their cars head on. Not one company accepted the challenge because they would lose their claim of being the fastest on the road even though they really never proved it head to head with the competition.

YUP! I own a gun from a very clever marketing Airgun company that has been nothing that they claim. I keep asking for information from a prominent YouTuber and not only do I never get an answer, my questions seem to be getting deleted from his account.

I generally just note the reviewers of products that release videos on the same day the product is announced. Examples are the FX Maverick or the Umarex ReadyAir compressor. What tier they fit in doesn't really concern me at that point since the odds are the expense wasn't out of their pocket.

A good review to me was Donnie's (Baker Air Guns) semi-auto Marauder write-up/video. He is in the business of selling and still explained the feel of the trigger.

The first thing I do is read the bad reviews and even then, it is seldom that all of the flaws of a given product are adequately described. No matter whom the reviewer may be.

e.g. SWFA SS 20X fixed scope.

Well, better than no information at all. We are all adults now and should have the ability to discern the information that’s out there. Back in the days we have to beg and join groups for any helpful information at all.
