PAC and N50 Nationals on the SAME dates!

National 50 has had their match dates posted for quite some time.

Today Pyramid announced their Pyramid Air Cup is scheduled on the same date as N50 Nationals. It’s unfortunate that Pyramid can’t work with N50 and NOT compete against them.

I wonder how many shooters would shoot both if they weren't on the same weekend? I'd think less than a handful... TC has one (of 11) shooter that shoots both N50 Nats and RMAC/EBR type events.

I wanted to shoot in the PAC because it’s less than 1/2 hour drive from where I live. Not that I would be competitive but it’s kind of a bucket list event for me. I’m not privy to all of the scheduling going on in the background and they are certainly going to do what they feel is best for their company. Its just unfortunate that they (Pyramid) chose to schedule their event on the same dates as N50. I’m sure both events will be fun for all.

Yes, wish they could have picked a different weekend…..but there really isn’t much overlap in the 2 shooting genres. A little…but not much.

We’ve got a lot of people and places to consider when selecting dates. Sadly, the dates that worked best for our team and the range where the cup is hosted fall on the same weekend as the N50 Nats and the World FT championships.

It’s certainly not intentional and I informed
Mike of the possibility of the overlap a few months ago.

Mike, I’ll be sure to keep a cup on for the foreseeable future
