PA - Air Venturi 74cu ft DOM 2020 tanks available again at $389

Just a heads-up. Got an email from PA about these tanks see they have the DOM 2020 tanks on sale for $389 for the 74 cu ft tanks.

Good deal, especially if you fill yourself.

I snagged one of these also, as my Scott scba tank hits its' 15yr lifespan later this year. Yes... a decent deal for sure on these tanks.
Though....! in my attempt to get it filled at my usual fire equipment dealer filling place, they could not fill due to the style of valve (AV Jubilee)
So I'm asking anyone, where do you get yours filled? It appears to need some type of 7/8" x 3/4" double male fitting. I have a JB -AirTanksForSale fill adapter for my Scott and would like to continue using that if possible.
Thanks for any insight on this. I'm editing the thread size to 7/8" double male.

It would need to be hydrod 5 years after the birthdate, so in 2025.

This is a great deal especially considering you can now extend a tanks service life to 30 years using Hexagon Digital Wave's ultrasonic testing method.
A thread about extended life tanks seems its cost prohibited

Looking at these AV tanks, I'm confused on how you would fill them. Do you use a male to male foster adapter and fill through the hose?
I'm looking for the same answer. Have a tank inbound and compressor at home to fill. Looking through some searches, one site states a male-to-male foster adaptor will work.

The Stickman valve shown in video will actually let you plug the compressor into the valve itself.

Is there a "better" or "recommended" way to fill my tank? Appreciate the input.

Hmm how is this different from what is on there unless it is a different size quick disconnect.

It appears that this has a din300 i would assume a female din 300?

Similar question to RWSx3, does anyone know if the valve threads for these types of tanks are standardized? I'd like to use the nice fill system I have on my AirTanksForSale Guppy tank on this AV tank.

The AirTanksForSale tank Should also have a 300 din valve.
Dumb question, but it appears that I have misplaces my soft measuring tape. Can anyone give me the diameter of the 74cu tank?
If the info is correct it states it is 7 inches in diameter which should be 3.5 inches radius which should equate to 21.99 inch circumference?

@GA_LeadHead I fill my tank using a male DIN300 fitting coming off of a compressor fill assembly. To do so I unscrew and remove the fill whip from the AV SCBA tank and screw in the male DIN300 fitting.
