What is the point in buying a pistol and then making it as long as the rifle, why not just buy a rifle to start with? I always thought people bought pistols because they wanted something short and light, doesn't this defeat the object of buying a pistol?

Prod is not exactly pistol length to begin with (IMO).

If you bought it for a specific build in mind I can understand that, we all like to play. But with my limited time on hand I usually look for and buy what I need, so if I wanted a carbine I would buy a carbine and not build one. But I do get the need to build, it is the sense of accomplishment when it is finished. I was not meaning to be critical, just trying to understand why people do this, I guess it must be the fun of the build! Neil.

The Prod, although it is called the Marauder Pistol, comes with the stock to make it a carbine from the factory. It really is a bit long and heavy as a pistol. Very few people that I know use it as a pistol. Most of us use it as a carbine and it is a really good carbine at that.

I don't really get a sense of accomplishment with building.
Things can always be improved in my eyes....when you see the world with that outlook (there is little room for feeling any true form of accomplishment).
Now touching what AJ said.....I agree the prod makes for a really fun & surprisingly nice carbine.

PB I don't get your comment, if you don't get any sense of accomplishment then why bother doing it? If I got no sense of having accomplished something making LDC's then I would stop making them! So I am not sure how to take what you have said? Neil.
