Roads out there are very well established gravel roads. They are built better than most gravel county roads. You could easily go 70mph on em, some might frown on it tho

The % chance has jumped above 80% now. Your app must've been more up to date then the weather channel page Joedirt. I can't see the hourly yet for Saturday, only Friday. It may be best to reschedule. I don't mind off and on rain, but if its raining all day Saturday, that's gonna stink. Thoughts? If we reschedule, we will try our best to consider what works best for everyone.

Mine was saying rain in the mornings and thunder storms in the evenings. I am guessing the storms coming up from the south are what they are projecting. We can watch it tomorrow and see how much they break up. If they are fast little rains or move in another direction, we may be alright.

I'm not going to cast a vote here. What I will say is that this is a 3.75 hr drive for me and my hunting partner. With the high probability of rain I personally do not want to take the risk of a complete rain out . I know a lot of planning has gone into this event and would want to see it happen for you all. What ever decision is made know that we up here in NW Missouri would like to get together with other airgunners in the near future.
I will stay tuned and hopeful of an opportunity to meet soon.

OK folks, Casey and I believe that it is best to reschedule the event to the following weekend. October 9th due to the weather. I apologize for the inconvenience of everyones plans. Our schedules were both open for that weekend, but afterwards it starts getting sketchy. We really hope that all those that were planning to attend this upcoming weekend will be able to make it work for the following weekend. Please let us know, if possible.
We are still planning to get out there Oct 8th for a grill out and camping.

Newmember, I plan to be out there hopefully around noon, give or take, on Friday. I'm not quite sure where I will be setting up yet. Either the main campground or the group campground just down the road by the creek. I plan to check them both out when I get there and then I will post where I setup. If there's a campsite at the main big enough to accommodate our 2 large tents, I will set up there.

Well folks, the Ozark Mountain Airgun Club has completed our first event. Our attendance took a hit with the reschedule but we still had a great time. 7 airgunners participated. Here are the winners.
Most squirrels go to Kao and Casey (3 squirrels)
Heaviest squirrel goes to Britt at 1.41 lb
It was fun to meet other airgunners. I look forward to our next event. And hopefully the ones that couldn't make this event will be able to make the next. Perhaps a target shooting competition in November. See you all at the next event!
