Oxidized pellets

Not worth it. Recycle them.

They were made to fit the bore and oxidation only changes the friction of the contact surfaces with the rifling which is stronger than an oxidated lead pellet.

If the picture by pdx Frank is "oxidated" pellets he's has also not mentioned those pellets in the picture are obviously deformed for whatever reason (banging the tin of pellets like a paint shaker machine?).

Shoot them and learn things about the rifle you shoot them in with new ones as well and the difference will be invisible.

That's my recycled lead pellets I shot from last year.

Even if oxidized pellets (all the graphite is gone, lead is more white when unprotected for long) are fine, is it really worth the time, even if it's "worth the risk"?

I mean, yeah, if you're in a country making a $1 a day. But if you earn more than min-wage, your time is better spent shooting than screwing around with garbage. IMO obviously.
