Shooting JSB RS out of this rifle, the accuracy leaves nothing to be desired. Taking out metallic silhoettes 'like that'. Needing more of a challenge, I went for the copper wire used to hang a can (great for the P1's). Second attempt and the can dropped.
Interesting observation: RWS Basic Wadcutters at up to 20 yards in no wind are taking out dandelion buds with the same accuracy as JSB RS pellets. Chronied yesterday: 635-640 fps with RWS Basics. Not bad at all.
There is a Leupold Running Target scope on Ebay right now. Not mine and I have no interest in it, but I noticed it this evening and I thought some folks interested in running target rifles might be looking. Hope this helps someone:
Really great airgun Jon. I had two 300S guns that were "out of the box" new. One left handed and one righty. I replaced the seals in both and they shot really great. Eventually they moved on to new custodians. The things that always never ceased to amaze me where the trigger and the design of the breach/piston assembly and ease of cocking. The overall quality was also amazing. Your most recent FWB Running Boar acquisition is just fabulous.
