Just a FYI before heading out to your local hardware store to look for orings. Do yourself a favor and check your local Grainger store. This is what $2.48 got me.

I've been ordering from "the o-ring store" online. So far, it's been lovely.
Usually the hardest part of the process is determining the exact geometry of the o-rings I need. I'm now at the point where I have a few boxes with about 40+ varieties of o-rings, that seem to work for most of the applications I have around the house.
