Question,

When you see a manufacture say 10 x 1 NBR 70 , does this mean the Inner Diameter is 10mm with a 1 mm Cross Section and 70 strength?

Yes, the standard convention is to call out the inside diameter, just be aware there are a few airgun manufacturers whose diagrams list O-rings by their OD so it’s a good idea to spot check an easy one to avoid surprises.

BTW the 70 in your example is the durometer (hardness of the elastomer).

here is a good place to look around, to learn about O-ring sizing and to do business

some O-ring will cross over from inch to metric size wise so you have more option
