Oring lube and nitrogen use

I know there are plenty of lubes and it's not necessary to try and find some magical lube for regulators or orings, but I was thinking....I know, I know.

I use nitrogen instead of air in my airguns...so, does the lube matter at all? I mean no o2 to support detonation, so any lube that is safe for NBR etc would be ok, correct?

Many petroleum based oils will still deteriorate o-rings. Best to utilize silicone based lubes. On metal to metal (triggers, slides, etc) silicone oil is not recommended.

Yep stay with silicone and because you use N2 they seem to never dry out or crack must be NO oxidizers O2 CO2 and misc.
