Last night, I tried ordering several tins of pellets from Zan. Surprisingly, my debit card was declined. As soon as I left the Zan website, I received an email fraud alert from my bank. Apparently, ordering from Slovenia caused a red flag. After a phone call with a nice lady, I was able to clear it up. Placed an order today with no problems. Just a heads up for anyone ordering from Zan.

Same happened with me. But only the first time I ordered. After that it always goes through,

Capitol One automatically declines every purchase I make to a new vendor, then e-mails and texts, asking if I just tried to make purchase. When I respond in the affirmative, they say OK, try again. Happened with Zan, the first time, now just goes through. I guess the vendors must be used to this, as its never stopped a sale yet. WM

I think that is a good practice a bank blocks a first purchase and you need to authorize by email accepting a link.
My amazon.com account was compromised in mid Dec.2020. A hacker ordered 14 Prime memberships as a gift to who knows where. It costed me replacing two credit cards and over two weeks hanging on the phone with my Bank fraud department. Finally amazon.com cleared the disput in a thirds week.

Update: Sometime in the wee hours before I got up this morning, my order shipped. A follow up email gave me a tracking order and a delivery date of Friday! Absolutely blazing fast shipping from eastern Europe!.
