Ordered a FX Tac Compact...anyone thinks I should change the...

caliber from .25 to .22 on that particular model? 30-40 yards targets. I think I still can change the order.

I mean for a compact rifle, are there advantages for using one vs the other?

To answer your question, I didn’t do any upgrades or changes other than using the DonnyFL vs stock moderator. That was more of a personal preference though, but I swear they help accuracy sometimes. It is a great gun in stock form.

For me, my .DL .25 is PLENTY powerful way beyond 30-40. I think the .22 will give you more versatility from 20-100+ , But you can always get another barrel and your set!! JMO

It was a no brainer for me. The gun is not marketed as a long range powerhouse so a .22 went in the cart and then I checked out.

For your use I would choose. 22 for better shootcount and cheaper pellets.

And the 22 is a bit shorter then the 25

The 22 barrel is shorter from what I hear. 12" I believe?
