Ordered a Air Venturi Nomad III 4500 PSI Portable PCP Compressor anyone got info on it?

I got one in the mail today. I have the big AV and not had a problem with it in over 3 years.
So hope this is as good when I want a small portable. Only will be filling Guns with it of course.
Mine was a trade with a very good friend and he says he only used it 3 or 4 times.

I purchased my nomad 1 USED in '18 and if you stick to the "maintenance schedule" your compressor will last for years and years.

My new Nomad 3 lasted exactly 3 fills…after that it wouldn’t build pressure
The Nomad 2 I had before that one lasted about 10 fills
Never again!!
I returned both to Pyramid and bought a Hill EC3000

DO NOT purchase Air Venturi Nomad III. I purchased one from Pyrimid Air in Jan. 2023. It lasted <60 days. I called PA 5 days before the 60 d warranty ran out. They took it back but did not tell me it would be July 2023 (if then) before they had another. This air compressor is no quality... even though I paid $850.

Not sure about the Nomad III, I have the Nomad II and it has failed twice now in 18 months, Air Venturi turnaround time is 6-8 weeks for repairs. Will not buy another one from them.

The first time the circuit board fried, second time, it sounded like it broke a rod. At Venturi now waiting to be repaired....6-8 weeks

That really sucks! I'm hoping I have better luck with my Rovair... I was skeptical about a unit that is oil-free...

I got the nomad 3 and it worked fine with the test plug. But when I used the male QD fitting it would not work. They sent me another QD fitting, it was black in color, not the silver colored one that came with the unit and it worked great.
