and scopes go to under ITAR restrictions, so it's really not easy for an individual to order them from the USA or for companies to send them even to the EU. It requires a lot of paperwork. I wouldn't even try it...

For me in Canada as well, it was easier to buy a NATO regulated scope from EU across the pound versus ITAR regulated same item from my Southern neighbour USA. And as I said it earlier, the export papers can cost an extra 2-300 $
For this reason I don't have Sightrons or Arken or Athlon and the rest of rebranded (thanks G) but I have Japanese and German.... Is Vector Chinese or Russian? because I see both selling for peanuts - over there.
I don't know what that ballgame is called between NATO and ITAR regulations, but for example people cannot get the IO scopes in USA only through a middleman from Canada. Are Delta, Optisan, Meopta or MTC directly available in US?
